My pieces are made from cold rolled steel. I use a plasma
cutter to cut the metal, hand bend the vase and candle
holders, attach the pieces by mig welding and grind each
piece using an angle grinder for the finished look. Copper,
wire, glass and stone accents are added to finish. Each
Piece is clear coated 3 times. My work is meant for indoors
and would eventually rust if used outdoors.
I was a graphic designer for 22 years. My last 10 years
were spent working for a Fortune 500 company but I wasn't
happy. I quit my job at age 40, took a welding class and
started doing full time juried Fine Arts shows immediately all
over the Midwest and Florida. I have added a touch of
whimsy to my contemporary work in hopes that it brings a
smile to your face each time it is viewed
