John is a Pencil Artist from England.  He has been working as
a full time professional artist for twenty years.

His unique style of drawing, using a drafting pencil with a hard
(2H) lead to produce incredibly detailed work has excited the
admiration of the art connoisseur and the general public alike.
Each picture represents weeks or months of work.  He draws
for six hours every day, with breaks for walking on the nearby
Lakeland Hills.

John uses a wide range of reference materials to ensure
authenticity, but does not copy photographs.  Apart from the
pencil, his only tools are a ruler, and eraser and a small
magnifier.  These are free-hand drawings.

The pictures are reproduced as duotones by Abacus Fine Art
Printers, using acid free papers and light fast inks, in
accordance with Fine Art Trade Guild guidelines.
